A Night to Remember: Our Spring Spectacular

The Gymnasium came alive with music, laughter and applause as we celebrated our Spring Spectacular! In a warm, cabaret-style setting, every performer stepped into the spotlight with immense courage, dedication and passion for their musical gifts, making the night truly special for everyone who came to watch.

The night opened with our Primary Choir, who blended their voices beautifully in ‘Zoo’ and a ‘Mary Poppins Medley’. Talika then belted out an impressive ‘Billie Jean’ and ‘Paradise’, joined by her talented bandmates, including Daniel on drums and Malise on keys. Our jazz students performed ‘Misty’, with Jing and Hannah’s clarinets as particular highlights. Rock band FLAN shredded their guitars, with Moira’s voice a real standout. These girls are all in Year 12, and FLAN will be sadly missed next year!

Our Middle School Band was another crowd favourite. Well done to Maisie on vocals, Chloe on bass, Victoria on electric guitar and Jaymin on drums. The Aldinga Worship Bands then led us in praise to our Heavenly Father with ‘Washed’, ‘Alive Again’ and ‘Daily Bread’. Finally, the Aldinga Primary Instrumental Ensemble delighted us with a range of instruments, and our thanks go to Eve on guitar, Robert on bass, Izzy on keys, and our recorder players too.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful music coordinators, Mrs Katie Rex and Mr Michael Cooper, whose tireless work and guidance helped every student shine! With 110 students involved and a full gymnasium of 270 audience members, the energy in the room was extraordinary, and our community was beaming with pride.

Congratulations to all our performers, and thank you for an unforgettable evening full of music. We can’t wait to see what you achieve next!
