Year 9 Home Economics students are engaging in a unit on International cuisine, learning about the cultures, eating habits and famous meals of different countries.

In the "Masterchef Challenge" they worked in a team to research recipes, write up a food order and time plan, then prepare and cook both courses in the given timeframe. They considered the importance of correct table setting, highlighting the theme and colours of their chosen country. They also showed off their culinary skills with skilful garnishing to a team of staff members, posing importantly as our judges. The students did an outstanding job to plate both of these courses efficiently and attractively.
