Year 12 Final Performance Assessment
Our Year 12 Music Students have recently presented their final performance assessment. Each of them prepared a varied program to meet the SACE requirement of performing to an audience as a soloist for 10-12 minutes. Vocals, violin and guitar were the featured instruments in these performances. The students collaborated with each other and with some of our talented younger music students to provide effective accompaniments as backing to their solo efforts.
These Stage 2 students have also finalised their individual projects involving instrument tutoring, building a musical instrument or exploring music in the community. As a result, the Morphett Vale music room has been the home of videos of violin lessons, testing of a very blue electric guitar and footage showing the impact of various musical genres on the emotions of community members.
Our Year 12 Music students are to be congratulated on the many hours they have spent rehearsing, performing, researching, implementing and reflecting in 2018
