CHESS

Involvement with Chess has been proven to increase academic outcomes due to high level critical thinking when strategically playing. We therefore encourage students across the school to participate in Chess. Chess Lunchtime Clubs are on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. In-school competitions are held as a part of our Kidsmatter House competitions. We also host the Southern district Inter-school Chess Competition run by Chess SA once a term.
