Year 8 Band Class

In addition to the instrumental lessons offered on both our campuses, we have a range of classroom music opportunities.

One such opportunity is Year 8 Band Class which is now run for one semester on each of our campuses. In 2019 Semester 1 has seen Year 8s at Morphett Vale develop their sight reading and music playing skills on a range of instruments. From embouchures to hand positions, students have learned about their own instrument as well observed the skills needed for the others. Semester 2 has Year 8s from Aldinga exploring these skills as they learn to play together as a ‘concert band’.
